Heidi Rodrigue, a 13 year old Louisiana native, has been nurturing her musical talent since she was 7 years old. She discovered her love of songwriting after entering the BreakfastBREAKS video commercial contest and was published to their website. Writing music seemed to be easy for Heidi, almost something she was born to do.

Once her creativity was sparked, music and lyrics poured out of her. The response to her music has been overwhelming. It has left her fans wanting more! Because of the reaction and the demand for more music, Heidi started out recording her first EP of original songs.

Heidi continues to write and record music. She is currently recording her debut album of original pieces at Mainwave Studios with Producer Jace Crosby. At the tender age of 13, Heidi’s music breaks the musical genre boundaries.

She incorporates her love of Pop, Rock , Soft Rock and Christian. The music has an ‘80’s retro feel and you can certainly hear the influences from artists such as the Jonas Brothers, Pat Benatar, Madonna, the Beatles, Bowling for Soup, The Go-Go’s and even Bon Jovi.

Heidi has won various accolades for her performances in local festivals. She has also been invited to play for local charity events and festivals in the wake of the release of the EP. Her back up band consists of a lead guitarist, drummer, keyboards, and bassist. She wants her music to make a difference and relate to young adults dealing with similar situations and feelings.
